Hi Lance! Pleasure to have you, buddy. How
did your 2016 season go?
2016
had its ups and downs. I got I think 5 championships. Had a lot of new
experiences so I tried to learn as much as I could to help me out along the
road. I also made the switch to the 250 which I like a lot.
Tell us a little bit about your set up and what
you’re riding.
I
am riding a Pro circuit Kx 250 with shift gear a bell helmet and 100%
goggles
Let’s start off with Mammoth MX. You got a couple wins under your belt,
there. Take me through how that weekend
went.
Mammoth
went well I got a little banged up from a first turn crash but bounced right
back and got myself tree big bears!! So once again it was a first for me so it
was a great learning experience and I am stoked to go back next year.
Mini-O’s went well for you, I
see. How did that pan out?
Mini-O's
was alright I got to see were I ranked with everyone. Two seconds were my best
finishes. My speed was there but my starts killed me. I had a lot of the
fastest lap times so I am happy with that and It was a huge confidence booster
for me. But now I am more motivated than ever to get on that top step!
Glad to hear you ended on a good note! You must be enjoying a break from travels and
what not. How’re you spending your
downtime now that the season has ended?
Now
that the season has ended I like to spend a lot of time with friends and family
that I have not seen in a while.
Always nice to catch up with loved ones. Lastly,
Who were some of your biggest role models while coming up through the
ranks and Who do you like to think you base
your riding style off of?
I
would have to say my biggest role model is Austin Forkner. This is because he
is smooth and consistent yet will hang it out and throw down some sweet scrubs.
Also he is one heck of a character off the track I have had a lot of fun
growing up with him. And I would also like to think I ride like him.
