Monster Army Major Brian Fox is AOTW. Brian is from Deerfield
Beach, FL and has been on a rampage dominating most events he has entered in
2014. Brian traines at Mike Spinner's personal BMX backyard park and this is what he had to say:
Who influences you and why?
-My dad. He always seems to find the brighter side of things. He
always wants to help out when you're in need.
What/ Who inspired you to ride?
-The feeling of learning new tricks is like no other feeling in
this world! I ride to progress and have fun! That inspires me the most!
What are your proudest moments/ accomplishments in 2013/2014?
-Getting into and getting second at the recon tour finals is definitely
in the top three. Also winning the Simi Valley recon tour stop was in the mix
also. Those are definitely two of my proudest moments.
Have you had to overcome any challenges that made riding an
obstacle at times? (i.e. Injuries, support)
-Yes definitely. I had to overcome a shoulder injury that I got
at one of the Recon Tour events.
What part of your riding are you looking to improve upon most
this?season?
-I really look to just master the tricks that I have this
season. I want to be able to do my biggest tricks at the snap of my fingers.
What is your daily routine and how do you prepare yourself for a
day of riding?
-Usually I'll start out by eating healthy fruits, veggies etc. Then
I'll stretch to prepare myself for a day of riding.
When I'm not riding you can find
me….._______________________________
-Usually at my house haha. I don't really have a life outside of
riding, or just hanging out with my dad at his bike shop.
Where would you like to see yourself in the next few years?
-In the next few years I'd like to see myself traveling the
world with the rad pros and riding at BMX Worlds!
Who would you like to thank?
-First
I'd like to thank my family, the sacrifices they make to get me to
contests is unreal. I also want to thank Mike Spinner for allowing me to ride
and train at his personal facility. I wouldn't be where I'm at today without
the yard. Dave Brumlow is also someone I'd like to thank for being a mentor and
getting me into an ASA big air triples event! I want to thank Monster Army for
believing in me and giving me the opportunity to travel to contests and giving
me the exposure that I need!
