Monster Army competed in the 2018 FIS Junior Freestyle Ski
and Snowboard World Championships at Cardona Alpine Resort in New Zealand earlier
this month.
In his second appearance at the Junior Worlds, Dylan Ladd was
able to land on the podium and score himself a Silver medal. With back-to-back
900s and a double flat 900 down the pipe he found himself in second in the Men’s
freeski halfpipe competition.
Also, rounding out the halfpipe results, Dylan was joined by
his brother Connor who landed in sixth and was just beat out by teammate Hunter Carey who finished fifth.
On the ladies side, fellow Monster Army and Team USA
teammate, Svea Irving finshed fourth overall in the Women’s freeski halfpipe, just
narrowly missing the podium.
Caroline Claire was also in Cardona competing in the FIS World
Cup and landed herself in second place in Ski Big Air.
