Monster Army Recon Tour 2015: Mission Valley YMCA - More BMX Videos
Solana Beach, Calif. – June 15, 2015 – The second Recon Tour PRO event took place this past weekend at The Mission Valley YMCA in San Diego, CA. The best Professional BMX athletes in the world took to the course to give the massive audience a show like never before. Kyle Baldock from Gold Coast, AUS proved how much of a threat he is in the BMX community by taking the victory and walking away with $5k. With Both Kyle and Daniel Sandoval recently taking X-games gold medals one week prior, they came into the Recon Tour hoping to keep the streak alive. Daniel respectively placed in 2nd place this past weekend at the Recon Tour with Kevin Peraza in 3rd place. Logan Martin who won the first Recon Tour Pro event at the Kitchen Park narrowly missed the podium this time around and earned 4th place. Nick Bruce received best trick with a flair double whip and is becoming a household name in the BMX world. “This was an amazing event and the talent of riding from both the professional and amateur athletes was incredible. Ed Percival has been competing in the Recon Tour series for the last couple of years. We have watched Ed grow overtime and he proved his progression by taking the AM win this past weekend. Ed left a strong impression on the judges with his big whip combinations and his technical riding skills. Eddie Rovi who was the youngest competitor of the day took home 2
nd place and Shane Davis came in 3rd place. All three athletes now have the opportunity to compete in any of the Recon PRO events as well as Ed locking in the his place at the Recon Tour AM final. Please go to www.therecontour.com to see a complete list of results.
