As nearly all of the second motos come to a close here at
the ranch this Thursday, the Monster Army have put them selves in a good
position to clinch some championships in the upcoming days.
Brandy Richards finished her second moto of Women 14+ very
strong, with a 3rd place finish. Through perserverance, Brandy was
able to put her head down and focus on the podium as she made her way from 7th
to 3rd in one lap. In the second moto of the Schoolboy 2 (13-16) B/C
class, Mark Worth was able to make a charge to the front as well. Mark made his
way from 11th to a 2nd place finish, which leaves him
sitting in 1st overall coming into the third moto. Tristan Charboneau had another astounding performance as well, by winning the second
moto of the 450 B class. Tristan led every lap of 450 B, however this was not
the case during the second moto of 250 B. On the first lap of 250 B, Tristan
passed the finish line in 10th place. Incredibly, he was able to
push past the pack and to the lead within 5 laps, as well as set the fastest
lap time of the class with a 1:56.417. After today’s performance, Tristan sits
1st overall in 250 B and 450 B as he approaches the third motos. Mark
Worth, was also a stand out during this 250 B Moto, as he charged from 12th
to a 4th place finish, with his Monster Army team mate Mitchell Harrison close in toe finishing 5th. Moving into the second moto of
the 250 A class, Luke Renzland grabbed himself a 3rd place finish.
The second moto of 450 A was a great race for the team as well, as the Army swept
the entire podium. Christopher Alldredge took the early lead in this class,
with his team mates Luke Renzland, and Nick Gaines close in toe. Luke was able
to make the pass on Chris during lap 4 and would go on to take the moto win.
Nick also made a charge and earned himself a 2nd place finish, with
his Team Mate Chris rounding out the top 3. This leaves the Monster Army
sitting 1st and 2nd overall in 450 A, with Luke Renzland
in 1st, and Christopher Alldredge in 2nd.
Our mini bike riders had a great day as well today. Brock Papi was able to slide up into a podium spot, finishing third in the second
moto of Mini Sr. 1 (12-13). Monster Army rider Connor Mullennix also impressed
us during this moto today, by making his way from 14th to a 5th
place finish. During the second moto of Super Mini 1 (12-15), Austin Forkner earned himself a 2nd place spot. Sean Cantrell finished closely in
the 3rd place spot, which put him into 1st overall as we
move toward the third motos. Speaking of Super Mini, the second moto of Super
Mini 2 (13-16) was a Monster Army domination today. Sean Cantrell grabbed an
early lead, up until lap five, where Austin Forkner made his move. Austin was
able to get around his Monster Army team mate and take the win, while Sean followed
for a strong 2nd place. We are excited to say that we are currently
sitting 1st and 2nd overall in this class, with Austin in
1st, and Sean in 2nd.
Congratulations to all of our riders, and we cannot wait to
see all of our riders on the podium during the third round of motos!
